I'm looking to install a PHP Script after installing AMPPS on my desktop. With which script should I start working Joomla or Drupal?

Drupal

* Very clean core code.
* Good project leadership from Acquia.
* Some very good developers available for hire.
* Fewer clowns available for hire (you can either code Drupal or you can't, it's harder to fake it).
* Can be made very server efficient in the right hands (scaleable).
Joomla

* Good menu system.
* Strong static page structure (cf. weblog).
* Built-in membership/community features.
* Long time on the market.
* I'm searching here.

Anyone claiming Drupal is better for developers is talking out of their behinds and should have their developer card revoked. Drupal development paradigms are ugly, overly complex, completely unorganized and a downright joke to anyone who takes proper coding practices seriously. In short, it's a cobbled together nightmare.I haven't gone through newer versions of Joomla yet but I am sure it's along the same lines as Drupal in terms of spaghetti code.

I think Drupal is great choice for you because it is often used to build sites that concentrate on user communities because of its fantastic permission module which makes it possible to finely control.

I have got the view pretty much figured out in Joomla, I am using the "content templater" module along the JCE editor to make each listing consistent in it's layout and to predefine content. This very simple method works very well the change the template and define repeated content.
