Can Any one explain this term : Keyword density ?
Hello,

I think Keyword density is the percentage of keywords that appear on your web page compare to the total number of words that means the total no of keywords that your web page has compare to all the paragraphs on your web page. Its also help to rank your web site well if you have good keywords.
Keyword density is the percentage of times a keyword or phrase appears on a web page compared to the total number of words on the page. In the context of search engine optimization keyword density can be used as a factor in determining whether a web page is relevant to a specified keyword or keyword phrase.
The perfect keyword density will help achieve higher search engine positions. Keyword density needs to be balanced correctly (too low and you will not get the optimum benefit, too high and your page might get flagged for “keyword spamming”).
Don't let keyword density rule your Web writing. If your page has a very low keyword density, but it's well written and clear, you'll get as many readers as you would with a more SEO focused articles.!!
The instructions that are really available here are very valuable and obliging for the optimization of a web based site in MSN search engine. All the tips are not effective for all the search engines. But still they are quite relevant.

Keyword density is a combination of the number of times a keyword or a keyword phrase, in proportion with other words, appears on a Web page. The more times the keyword appears in relation to the total number of on page words, the greater the overall keyword density.
